Graduates in Technician Certificate in Gemology  (NTLA -5) field are expected to have competence in gemology. Technician graduates in Gemology are expected to apply their skills and knowledge in a range of activities (exploration of gemstone, cutting, polishing of gemstones, etc), and at this level graduates should be able to assume operational responsibilities.
